IT Project Manager / Scrum Master

Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead and deliver complex technology projects in a dynamic and agile environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project lifecycle management, from planning and execution to delivery and closure, while fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and Agile-driven team culture.

This hybrid role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, project management principles, and technical delivery processes. The successful candidate will act as a servant leader, enabling cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business goals and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple cross-functional Agile teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews to support team collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and milestones.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and scope, ensuring adherence to PMO standards and best practices.
• Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and solutions proactively.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA Engineers, UX Designers, and other stakeholders to prioritize backlog and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Drive continuous improvement in Agile maturity and team performance by promoting Agile principles and coaching team members.
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and other project management platforms to track progress, create reports, and maintain transparency.
• Manage vendor relationships, third-party dependencies, and cross-team coordination as needed.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered in compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and governance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field; PMP, CSM, or SAFe certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in IT project management and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Experience with enterprise-level software development and cloud-based systems is preferred.
