IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects within a product-based IT environment. The role requires strong project management capabilities, solid software development knowledge, and excellent communication skills to ensure successful delivery of digital products, applications, and platforms in alignment with business objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Product Delivery

• Manage end-to-end IT projects across web, mobile, and platform-based products
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear project plans, timelines, and deliverables
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and quality standards

Technical & Development Coordination

• Work closely with development, QA, and architecture teams to support efficient execution
• Possess a strong understanding of development workflows, coding standards, and release cycles
• Review technical plans, effort estimates, and dependencies to ensure feasibility and alignment

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Coordinate with designers, product owners, vendors, and operations teams
• Ensure clarity of requirements and alignment across all involved teams

Risk, Planning & Execution Management

• Identify technical and delivery risks early and implement mitigation strategies
• Track milestones, dependencies, and resource utilization
• Escalate risks and issues with clear impact analysis and recommended actions

Communication & Documentation

• Provide clear, concise, and professional communication to stakeholders
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and dashboards
• Lead status meetings, reviews, and retrospectives

Quality, Governance & Process Improvement

• Ensure adherence to IT governance, security, and compliance standards
• Maintain high-quality delivery across all project outputs
• Drive continuous improvement in project management and development processes

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT Project Management or a related role
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Hands-on exposure to development practices, tools, and methodologies

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong knowledge of development workflows and technical concepts
• Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Wrike, MS Project, Asana, etc.)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced product environment
