Responsibilities:
Fluor is looking for a Citrix administrator to join our global IT team and support our Citrix environment. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting application and desktop environments within Fluor covering 16 global locations with circa of 1000 CCU`s supporting over 3000 users globally.Fluor is leveraging the Citrix DaaS and VDI platforms, which is delivering both virtualised and native applications. The Citrix DaaS and VDI Farm is currently within the Citrix Cloud, with our VDA`s on-premises. Manage and monitor the Citrix DaaS and VDI environment, including Cloud Connectors, StoreFront, DaaS Cloud, Licensing, and Provisioning Services.Deploy, update, and stream Citrix applications using Numecent Cloudpaging virtualization technologies.Optimize the performance, availability, and security of Citrix systems and applications.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Citrix connectivity, authentication, policies, profiles, printing, and end user experience.Document Citrix processes, procedures, and best practices.Collaborate with other IT and engineering business teams and vendors to ensure the compatibility and integration of Citrix solutions.Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other IT staff on Citrix-related issues.Collaborate and provide oversight of our global strategic sourcing partner is support of Fluor’s Citrix environment.Basic Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or at least 5 years of experience as a Citrix administrator / engineer.Experience with Citrix 2402 LTSR or later, including installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.Experience with Numecent Cloudpaging or similar cloud application virtualization and layering technology.Experience with Windows Server 2019 or later, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and PowerShell.Experience with hypervisors such as VMware vSphere, Xenserver or Microsoft Hyper-V.Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and load balancing.Experience with Citrix certifications such as CCA-V, CCP-V, or CCE-V is a plus.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.Solid experience in change management processes, trouble-shooting escalations, and quality improvements Ability to work independently as a self-starter, and within a team environment.Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines. Experience working in an outsourced environment is a plus.
