Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Lead to oversee the daily operations of our Corporate IT Operations Centre. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will proactively resolve issues, manage a technical support team, and drive compliance with industry standards in a dynamic 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead 24/7 maintenance and support of IT systems, including networking, telephony, security, and physical infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with IT service management and security standards (ISO 20000, ISO 27001), maintaining accurate documentation for all IT assets.
• Mentor and manage a technical support team, assigning tasks and fostering a collaborative culture.
• Plan and execute IT projects, providing accurate estimations and timely delivery.
• Monitor system health, analyze incidents, and implement solutions to minimize user impact.
• Oversee IT asset management, configuration, and vendor relationships.
• Drive process improvement and operational efficiency across IT operations.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, ensuring clear updates and strong relationships.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure design, integration, and management.
• In-depth knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, switches), security, and cloud transformation.
• Experience with ITSM processes and tools; certifications such as CCNP, MCSE, CISSP, ITIL, or Six Sigma preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, Solarwinds) and vendor management.
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure, software-defined networking, and Infrastructure as a Service models.
