Job Description

About the Role:

IT Manager

Key Responsibilities:

IT Operations & Infrastructure

Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including system administration, hardware, and software management.
Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure, servers, and communication systems.
Ensure uptime, performance, and reliability of IT systems across departments.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Security & Compliance

Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and access controls.
Manage data protection, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO, NIST).
Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments.

Vendor & Budget Management

Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and consultants.
Negotiate contracts, licensing, and support agreements.
Prepare and manage the IT departments annual budget.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Masters preferred).
5+ years of experience in IT management or system administration roles.
Proven experience managing IT infrastructure in a multi-user environment.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
