IT Manager

An IT support job in the hospitality industry involves a wide range of technical duties to ensure smooth hotel operations, such as installing and maintaining hardware and software, providing technical assistance to staff for systems like PMS and POS, troubleshooting network and server issues, and managing user accounts and security protocols. Hospitality IT support also requires the ability to liaise with other departments and vendors to meet their technology needs, document procedures, and support various guest-facing and back-end systems.

Key responsibilities :

• Technical support and troubleshooting:
• Act as the first point of contact for all user-level IT issues, resolving problems with hardware, software, and networks via phone, email, or in-person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues specific to the hospitality sector, such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS) systems, and voice/phone systems.
• Perform remote support using tools like Logmein.
• System and network management:
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware (computers, printers, etc.) and software (operating systems, applications).
• Administer and monitor network infrastructure, servers, and security measures like anti-virus and backup systems.
• Manage email systems and user accounts.
• Collaboration and communication:
• Work with other departments to understand their IT needs and ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Liaise with outsourced vendors for maintenance and other technology services.
• Provide training and support to staff on new technologies and systems.
• Documentation and reporting:
• Keep accurate and detailed records of services performed and issues resolved.
• Document procedures and create knowledge base articles.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports for management.
• Inventory and procurement:
• Maintain inventories of IT hardware and software.
• Assist in procuring necessary hardware and software to meet user requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
