About the role

Key responsibilitiesSales and business development:

  • Drive sales of laptops, desktops, and other IT hardware solutions through a network of channel partners to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets.
  • Engage with new and existing Large and SME accounts via phone and email to identify opportunities and present tailored hardware solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Prospect and sell to new key accounts while identifying upsell opportunities within the existing account base.

Partner and account management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with channel partners to ensure ongoing business growth.
  • Conduct regular meetings and training sessions with partners to keep them informed about product updates and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint business plans and achieve mutually beneficial sales goals.
  • Provide timely and professional support to partners for any sales or service-related queries.

Reporting and strategy:

  • Utilize CRM software to maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and reports to the management team.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and product developments to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product management, to optimize sales offerings and support.

Required qualifications and skills

  • Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, specifically in IT hardware (laptops and desktops).
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of hardware products, including technical specifications, and the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
