Job Description

Role of an IT Engineer

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
Diploma or specialized certifications can also help for entry-level roles.

Core Skills

Networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls).
Operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
Programming basics (Python, Java, C++, etc.).
Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Cybersecurity fundamentals.
Database management (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).

Certifications (optional but valuable)

CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
Cisco (CCNA, CCNP)
Microsoft (Azure, MCSA/MCSE)
AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Google IT Support

Soft Skills

Problem-solving and analytical thinking
