Job Description

Role Description

Role Overview:

The Cutover Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all cutover activities to ensure smooth transitions from project to production environments. The role requires strong leadership, technical understanding, and the ability to work across multiple teams and geographies to deliver successful releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain detailed project and program cutover plans.
  • Coordinate and manage activities across multiple teams and locations.
  • Plan and execute detailed cutover tasks, including resources, environments, integrations, and data.
  • Execute real-time cutover plans in test and production environments in line with the release schedule.
  • Manage exceptions as agreed with the Enterprise Release Lead.
  • Lead Release Readiness Reviews, Milestone Reviews, Business Go/No-Go meetings, and CAB sessions.
  • Coordinate Go-Live activities, including the execution of deployment plans and checklists.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in test environment management, testing, and cutover management.
  • Experience working with complex technical architectures, including SAP.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver changes on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of both waterfall and agile software development lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, influencing, and leadership skills.

Technical Skills

  • Planning Tools: Jira
  • Collaboration Tools: MS Teams, MS Office, Confluence, Miro, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • ITSM Tools: ServiceNow
  • Data Analysis: Excel (independent proficiency)
  • Portfolio Management: Working knowledge and experience
  • Reporting & Visualization: Power BI
