IT Business Development Executive

As a Full-time Sales Executive in Guwahati, you must be willing to source clients from nearby states like Meghalaya, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, etc. You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities in the Home Automation, IT Infrastructure, Networking, Security Systems, and Audio-Visual Solutions industries. Your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying new business opportunities in residential and commercial segments for home automation, home theatre, IT & networking, CCTV, and professional sound systems. - Building relationships with interior designers, architects, builders, and contractors to establish long-term partnerships and bring in new projects. - Conducting client meetings, presentations, and site surveys to thoroughly understand customer requirements. - Promoting and selling complete solutions including Wi-Fi setup, LAN/WAN network design & installation, CCTV/surveillance setup & configuration, home automation & audio-visual integration, and sound system design & installation. - Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals. - Generating accurate quotations based on technical inputs from the engineering team. - Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships. - Following up on leads, closing deals, and consistently meeting monthly sales targets. - Collaborating closely with technical and installation teams for seamless project execution. To succeed in this role, you should have 1-2 years of proven B2B/B2C sales experience, preferably in IT, networking, automation, or electronics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required. A basic understanding of networking concepts, CCTV systems, and automation solutions is advantageous. You should be highly self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and fluency in English and the local language (Assamese or Hindi). Preferred qualifications include a degree in BCOM, BBA, or a similar field, and prior experience in ISP companies, networking equipment firms, home automation, or surveillance companies.
