We are seeking a results-oriented IT administrator to manage our company's computer infrastructure and supervise our IT department. You will be upgrading and installing hardware and software, performing troubleshooting to resolve IT issues, procuring hardware and maintaining the hardware, networks and servers. To ensure success as an IT administrator, you should possess the ability to optimize the performance of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities

Procuring hardwares with a good plan and maintenance of all assets.

Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.

All Operating systems like Ubuntu, Windows and MacOs understanding and OS level troubleshooting.

Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
-
Installation and configuration of different operating systems like Linux, Windows etc.
-
Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
-
Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
-
Creating VPN servers and managing clients seamlessly.
-
Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
-
Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.
-
Supervising and mentoring IT department employees, as well as providing IT support.

Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
Minimum Skills and Qualification Required:
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.

Applicable professional qualification, such as Hardware, Microsoft or Cisco certification.

At least three years' experience in a similar role.

Extensive experience with IT systems and hardware, networks, and related technologies.

Solid Knowledge of all types of operating systems like Ubuntu, Windows and MacOs etc.

Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.

Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good to have skills:

Work on unattended system installations tools like MAAS or FAI.
-
Endpoint Management like MDM/UEM.

Demonstrated ability to mentor junior members.

Work on different routers and switches configurations.
