As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, you will design, develop, create, and modify test cases and validate embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Software Test Engineers collaborate across various engineering teams and functions to design and implement test plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Area: Audio Testing - IoT

Work Experience: min 2yrs Experience in Audio Technology and Audio Testing

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and validate performance of audio subsystems to meet strict metrics for robustness, and stability on Qualcomm platforms.
• Understanding in Audio codes, standards, mobile audio and IoT Audio features
• Collaborate with cross-functional, systems, engineering and customer engineering teams for system use case verification and commercialization of audio technologies
• Perform System level performance testing, measurements and certifications.
• Support diversity and inclusion within Qualcomm and exhibit adaptability in a dynamic, multi-tasking team environment.

Requirements:

• Solid background in audio software and firmware fundamentals.
• Experience working on Android audio architecture or Linux audio drivers is a plus
• Experience with embedded platforms, DSP architectures, real-time operating systems, and software design patterns
• Quick learner, self-motivated, and capable of working independently across geographically dispersed teams.
• Ability to do considerable analysis and debugging skills.
• Experience on Audio hardware Interfaces, Tunning, 3GPP standard testing is an addon advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or master’s in engineering
• Effective Oral and Written Communication skills
• Good Team player
• Knowledge on Python Scription, C programming with debugging skills
