Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end iOS app development : Design, develop, test, and launch the AceTime MVP on iOS (from prototype to TestFlight release).
• Feature implementation : Build and optimize key features, including :
• Real-time video/audio calling
• Live transcription overlays and AI-generated meeting summaries
• AI-assisted group and direct messaging
• Persistent contextual memory for contacts
• Collaboration and strategy : Work directly with the founder to define product roadmap, prioritize features, and iterate quickly based on feedback.
• Scalability and reliability : Ensure high performance, low latency, and robust privacy measures to support a global user base.
• Technical leadership : Stay updated on emerging iOS and AI technologies, advocating best practices for code quality and system architecture.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in iOS app development using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Strong expertise in real-time communication technologies (WebRTC, CallKit, VoIP).
• Backend development experience (Node.js, Python, or similar) for call handling and messaging infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Whisper, speech-to-text, NLP).
• Solid understanding of real-time messaging systems (WebSockets, Firebase, or similar).
• Strong grasp of data privacy, security, and compliance in communication apps.

• Knowledge of video streaming optimization and low-latency architecture.
• Experience scaling apps to global audiences.
• Background in building social, messaging, or AI-driven applications.
• Strong sense of design and ability to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
