Role Overview

The Investment Banking Analyst provides essential analytical and transactional support across mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and financial advisory assignments. • Perform industry and market research to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and potential opportunities.
• Assist in preparing offering materials, teasers, and management presentations used in marketing transactions.
• Monitor market activity, including equity and debt market movements, to support client recommendations.
• Maintain internal databases and ensure accuracy of comparable company and transaction benchmarks.
• Participate in internal discussions, providing analytical input to support client strategy and deal structuring.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of analyses, models, and client materials.
• Uphold high standards of accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and professional communication at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, financial analysis, private equity, or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and detailed quantitative analysis.
• Strong knowledge of valuation techniques, financial statements, and corporate finance principles.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating polished and persuasive client presentations.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and meet demanding deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for summarizing complex information.
• Familiarity with financial databases such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or Refinitiv is a plus.
