Investment Banking Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain

  integrated three-statement financial models

  (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow).
• Develop and update

  M&A transaction models

  , including accretion/dilution, merger, and synergy analyses.
• Conduct

  valuation analyses

  using DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction methodologies.
• Prepare and support

  pitch materials

  teasers

  information memoranda

  management presentations

• Analyze

  target company financials

  , identify trends, business drivers, and key risk factors.
• Perform

  industry research

  and

  peer benchmarking

  to support valuation and transaction strategies.
• Collaborate closely with client deal teams and internal managers to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.
• Apply

  advanced Excel and AI tools

  to streamline data analysis and improve modeling efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in

  Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline

  .

• 1-2 years of experience

  in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A advisory.
• Advanced proficiency in

  Excel-based financial modeling

  and

  three-statement linkages

  .
• Strong understanding of

  M&A valuation techniques

  (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions).
• Sound grasp of

  financial statements, accounting principles, and cash flow mechanics

  .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in

  outsourced investment banking or analytics support

  environment.
• Familiarity with

  Capital IQ, PitchBook, FactSet, or Bloomberg

  .
• Exposure to

  live M&A deal execution

  and

  client deliverables

  .

• Certifications in Advanced Excel or Financial Modeling

  preferred.

• Certification or working knowledge in Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, or automation tools

  is an advantage.
• Progress toward

  CFA (Level I/II)
