Job Description

Role Overview: As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of inventory management. This includes tasks such as receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. Your role will also involve maintaining accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems, monitoring stock levels, and initiating purchase orders to replenish inventory as needed. Additionally, you will conduct regular stock audits, coordinate with various teams, analyze inventory data, ensure compliance with policies, develop optimization strategies, prepare reports for management, and train warehouse or inventory staff when necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of inventory management, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. - Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems. - Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to replenish inventory as needed. - Conduct regular and cycle stock audits to identify and correct discrepancies. - Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth inventory flow. - Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and reduce excess and obsolete stock. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies regarding storage and handling of goods. - Develop and implement strategies for inventory optimization and cost control. - Prepare and present inventory reports to management on a regular basis. - Train and supervise warehouse or inventory staff as needed. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations. - Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Zoho Inventory). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent organizational and time management abilities. - Strong communication and leadership skills. Note: The job type for this position is full-time. The work location is in person.
