DC Server and Storage Expert

Job Title: DC Server and Storage Expert Location: Rajkot (Government Office Deployment) Experience Required: Minimum 8 Years Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field Certifications Preferred:

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate / MCSE

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent Linux certification

• VMware VCP, Dell EMC / HPE Storage Certifications (desirable)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Server and Storage Expert with strong expertise in managing, configuring, and maintaining data center infrastructure, including both Windows and Linux-based servers, as well as enterprise-level storage systems. The role demands hands-on experience and the ability to operate in a government-controlled secure IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor Data Centre infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers (Windows & Linux).

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware, storage arrays (SAN/NAS), and backups.

• Plan and implement system upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning.

• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data integrity across all servers and storage devices.

• Work with virtual environments – VMware, Hyper-V, or other platforms.

• Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.

• Coordinate with application and network teams to support infrastructure requirements.

• Maintain compliance with security protocols and government IT policies.

• Respond promptly to incidents, outages, and service degradation affecting server/storage systems.

✅ Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise server and storage infrastructure.

• Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux OS (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) administration.

• Experience with RAID configurations, SAN/NAS storage solutions (Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, etc.).

• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and server roles/services.

• Backup and Disaster Recovery planning using tools like Veeam, Commvault, or NetBackup.

• Performance monitoring and capacity planning.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
