Inventory & Forward Order Executive (Marketplace)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory & Forward Order Manager to manage stock levels, coordinate order processing, and ensure seamless fulfilment across multiple eCommerce marketplaces (such as Myntra, Ajio, Amazon, Flipkart etc.).

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with hands-on experience in eCommerce operations or inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory levels across all marketplace channels and internal systems.

• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and suppliers to ensure stock availability.

• Monitor stock aging, forecast demand, and plan replenishments to minimize stockouts or overstock situations.

• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations between physical stock, system data, and marketplace listings.

Forward Order Processing

• Manage forward orders and track them through order received to delivery.

• Ensure timely fulfilment of marketplace orders in line with SLAs and dispatch schedules.

• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for smooth order picking, packing, and shipment.

• Handle order exceptions, returns, cancellations, and replacements efficiently.

Marketplace Operations

• Liaise with finance account managers and internal teams for data filings

• Generate and analyze sales, stock movement, and order performance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in eCommerce operations, inventory management, or order processing.

• Hands-on experience with marketplace portals (Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, etc.) and inventory systems.

• Strong Excel and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities.

• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
