Role Overview As a Drone Technology Intern , you will work on the design, integration, testing, and optimization of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for agricultural applications. You’ll get hands-on exposure to building and maintaining drones, testing flight controllers, optimizing spray systems, and supporting R&D on indigenous components. Key Responsibilities Assist in assembly, calibration, and testing of drones (frame, propulsion, electronics) Work with flight controller systems (e.g., Pixhawk, Ardupilot) for tuning and PID optimization Support development of spraying mechanisms , payload integration, and battery management Conduct field trials and flight log analysis for performance improvement Collaborate on the development of indigenous drone components (FC, ESC, motors, etc.) Help with documentation, SOPs, and compliance for drone deployment Preferred Skills B.E./B.Tech (Pursuing or completed) in Aeronautical, Mechatronics, ECE, Robotics, or related field Exposure to UAV systems, RC models, or embedded systems Familiarity with Pixhawk, Mission Planner, QGroundControl, Ardupilot Hands-on experience with soldering, ESC calibration, sensors, or drone hardware Bonus: Knowledge of agriculture use cases, NDVI cameras, or GIS systems What You’ll Gain Opportunity to work on real-time drone deployment for farmers Mentorship from domain experts in aerospace, UAVs, and agri-tech Certificate, LoR, and PPO opportunity for high-performing interns Field testing exposure and a chance to contribute to Made-in-India drone tech How to Apply Send your CV and any relevant project portfolio to: naresh@cropxplore.com Subject: Application for Drone Technology Intern – [Your Name] Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship Contract length: 6 months Pay: ₹3,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month Schedule: Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Work Location: In person
