Job Description

A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud. Our Accounts Payable and Receivable team is responsible for performing collections activity and payment of debt activity. You’ll focus on working with senior individuals to review and produce reports related to the accounts receivable and accounts payable accounts that will assist PwC in achieving monthly collection target amounts as well as ensuring timely payment of vendor invoices.To really stand out and make us fit for the future in a constantly changing world, each and every one of us at PwC needs to be a purpose-led and values-driven leader at every level. Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Core accounting and finance function for PwC SDC Kolkata.
Will be part of a team responsible for account closure and financial analytics related function.
May be sharing responsibilities for Taxation (indirect and direct) for PwC SDC Kolkata
Operations of various key verticals of Finance such as P2P, R2R etc
Adhering to Indian Accounting standards (Ind AS)
Consistently demonstrate teamwork dynamics by working as a team member, understand personal and team roles and contribute to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members and proactively seek guidance, clarification and feedback

Requirements

Graduate with minimum 5 years of experience
Education- CA/CA Inter only
core accounting and finance experience with exposure to managing account closure and financial analytics.

Should have good knowledge in

Indian Accounting standards (Ind AS)
Financial analysis through excel
Taxation (indirect and direct)
Financial Operations such as P2P, R2R etc.
