Internal Auditor

As an Internal Auditor at our company, your role will involve overseeing internal audits across various departments to ensure compliance, improve processes, and enhance operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting Comprehensive Audits: - Performing regular internal audits across key departments such as Production, Quality, Purchase, Accounts & Finance, Sales & Marketing, Design & R&D. - Evaluating and Improving Processes: - Reviewing and assessing business operations to identify inefficiencies and areas for cost reduction or performance improvement. - Ensuring Policy and Regulatory Compliance: - Monitoring adherence to internal policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks. - Reviewing Financial and Inventory Controls: - Examining cost control systems, procurement methods, and inventory management practices. - Assessing IT & Cybersecurity Risks: - Working closely with the IT team to identify risks related to cybersecurity and evaluating the effectiveness of data protection measures. - Supporting Implementation of Internal Controls: - Recommending and assisting in deploying strong internal control mechanisms. - Reporting and Communication: - Preparing clear, concise, and insightful audit reports with findings, risk assessments, and recommendations for corrective actions. - Following-Up on Audit Findings: - Conducting follow-up reviews to ensure that agreed-upon corrective actions are effectively implemented. Qualifications Required: - ICWAI (Inter/Final), or Bachelors in Accounting/Finance. - Experience with ERP systems and internal audits. As an ideal candidate, you should possess: - ICWAI certification (mandatory). - Strong understanding of costing, audit practices, and internal control systems. - Analytical and critical thinking skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel and audit software. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - High integrity and professionalism.
