Social Media Intern

Role Overview

As a Social Media Intern, you will help drive HHIF’s online presence by creating, scheduling, and analyzing content across multiple platforms. You will be at the forefront of our campaigns, helping us connect with patients, families, and the wider public in creative and meaningful ways.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Draft engaging captions, posts, stories, reels, and polls aligned with HHIF’s campaigns (e.g., World Heart Day, Beat Back Cholesterol).
• Work with the design team to bring campaign ideas to life through visuals.
• Manage posting schedules and ensure timely publishing of content.
• Track and analyze engagement metrics to identify what works best.
• Stay updated with social media trends and suggest creative ways to boost engagement.
• Support live coverage of events, webinars, and awareness sessions.
  

Requirements

• Strong interest in social media, digital content, and community engagement.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi/regional languages is a plus).
• Creative mindset and ability to think of fresh, engaging content ideas.
• Organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Knowledge of video editing, reels creation, or content analytics.
