Heart Health India Foundation is a patient-led, non-profit organisation committed to building a heart-healthy India. We work with hospitals, corporates, and public service units to run awareness programmes, patient education sessions, and preventive health campaigns. Our mission is simple yet powerful: a movement for the patients, by the patients. By centering the voices of those who live with heart conditions, we ensure that awareness and advocacy remain people-focused and impactful.
We are seeking Consultant – City Coordinators with strong health sector experience to plan and deliver heart health awareness events in government medical colleges, district hospitals, and public institutions. This role is not limited to event execution—it also requires liaison with State NHM departments, hospital administrators, and district health officials to build long-term partnerships that align HHIF’s programmes with state-level NCD and CVD priorities.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with State NHM officials, District CMOs, and hospital administrators.
• Manage permissions, approvals, and compliance for awareness programmes in government medical colleges and district hospitals.
• Align HHIF’s activities with state NCD/CVD strategies and provide documentation to enable long-term collaboration.
• Represent HHIF in state or district-level consultations, workshops, and meetings when needed.
• Coordinate with hospitals, corporates, and PSUs to host awareness events, literacy campaigns, and health camps.
• Mobilise participants and ensure smooth programme delivery by liaising with doctors, patient advocates, and speakers.
• Prepare event reports, outcome summaries, and documentation in formats used by NHM/state departments.
• Collect basic monitoring data (attendance, feedback, awareness indicators) and share with HHIF’s central team.
• Follow up with hospitals and NHM offices to sustain engagement.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to embed HHIF’s programmes within government health initiatives.
• Facilitate sponsorships, CSR partnerships, or co-hosted programmes when relevant.
• 5–7 years’ experience in public health, NGOs, CSR, hospitals, or development programmes.
• Demonstrated work with government health systems (NHM, NCD Cells, Medical Colleges, District Hospitals).
• Prior exposure to organising community health events, awareness campaigns, or patient engagement programmes.
• Strong networking, negotiation, and coordination skills with ability to navigate government processes.
• Proficiency in local language for effective engagement with hospitals and communities.
• Preferred: Lived experience as a heart patient or having a close family member with heart disease, to bring authentic patient and family perspectives.
• Deliverable-based consultancy: payment linked to the milestones achieved.
• Flexibility: part-time engagement, allowing you to contribute alongside your other professional or personal commitments.
• Opportunity to work with India’s largest patient-led heart health movement.
• Exposure to multi-stakeholder advocacy and long-term collaborations with government and private health systems.
A chance to be part of a patient-driven mission that empowers communities and strengthens preventive health.
