Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and ambitious Junior Interior Designer to be a core part of our founding team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work across both our retail and project divisions. You will assist showroom customers with furniture selection and also manage full-scale interior design projects from concept to completion. This is the perfect role for a passionate designer who wants to make a significant impact in a new and growing company.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with showroom customers, providing expert design advice to help them select the perfect furniture and decor.

Manage end-to-end interior design projects (both residential and commercial).

Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget.

Develop innovative design concepts, mood boards, and client presentations.

Create detailed 2D technical drawings (floor plans, elevations) and compelling 3D models/renderings.

Assist in selecting and sourcing materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and our internal team to ensure timely project execution.

Contribute to the visual merchandising and aesthetic of our retail store.

Required Skills & Qualifications

A successful candidate should have a strong mix of technical, creative, and interpersonal skills.

Technical Skills

Design Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

3D Modeling: Strong skills in software like SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar.

Rendering: Experience with rendering engines like V-Ray, Enscape, or Lumion.

Presentation: Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or other presentation tools.

Creative & Design Skills

Spatial Planning: A strong understanding of space utilization and layout design.

Color & Material Knowledge: A keen eye for color combinations, textures, and materials.

Design Principles: Solid foundation in the principles of interior design.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity is a must.

Soft Skills

Communication: Excellent ability to connect with retail customers and project clients.

Teamwork: A proactive and collaborative attitude, ready to contribute in a start-up environment.

Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Problem-Solving: Proactive in finding solutions to design challenges.

Experience & Salary

Experience: 0 - 3 years. Freshers with an impressive portfolio are strongly encouraged to apply!

Salary: ₹15,000 to ₹30,000 per month, negotiable based on experience and portfolio.
