Interior Designer - Internship

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer - Internship role located in Siliguri at Clinicity. As an Interior Designer Intern, you will be involved in space planning, architecture, construction drawings, interior design, and furnishing, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). You will work closely with the team to contribute to the design and execution of healthcare facilities. Qualifications Space Planning, Architecture, and Interior Design skills Experience in creating construction drawings and FF&E selection Degree or pursuing studies in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software Strong attention to detail and creativity in design concepts Ability to work in a collaborative team environment Experience or interest in healthcare facility design is a plus ✅ Skills Required for an Interior Designer Internship (General + Clinicity-specific) 🖌️ Core Design Skills AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar CAD tools 3D rendering and modeling (e.g., Lumion, V-Ray, Blender) Space planning and layout design Concept development and mood boarding Selection of materials, colors, and textures 🏥 Healthcare-Specific Design Knowledge (Clinicity Relevance) Understanding of hospital design guidelines (e.g., NABH norms) Basic knowledge of ergonomics and patient flow Space planning for: OPD, IPD, diagnostic rooms, labs Operation theatres, waiting lounges Nurse stations and admin blocks Familiarity with medical equipment placements (size, power needs, ventilation) Infection control–friendly material selection (easy to clean surfaces, non-toxic paints) 💼 Project & Communication Skills Site visit readiness and basic supervision knowledge Client requirement analysis and presentation skills Team collaboration with civil engineers, architects, and technicians Time management for deadline-based work 💻 Digital + Reporting Skills Basic knowledge of MS Office (for BOQs and cost estimates) Ability to create interior project presentations Visual communication using Canva or Photoshop Email us at Clinicityhr@gmail.com Show more Show less
