J ob Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Instrumentation Engineer with extensive experience in Estimation & Costing for electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing technical specifications, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support project proposals and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimation & Costing:

Perform quantity take-off for electrical equipment and cabling.
Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and comprehensive cost estimates.
Benchmark market prices and identify cost optimization opportunities.

Technical Review:

Analyze electrical specifications, single line diagrams, and project requirements.
Conduct load calculations and estimate power distribution needs.
Ensure compliance with IEC/IS standards and client specifications.

Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination:

Evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
Support procurement decisions through technical and commercial analysis.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Coordinate with proposal, design, and procurement teams to align on project scope and deliverables.
Provide technical inputs during bid preparation and project planning stages

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and electrical estimation.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, standards, and cost analysis.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
