*Position Summary:*

We are hiring a qualified and experienced *M&I Inspection Engineer* for Tanks, Pressure Vessels, and Heat Exchangers. The role involves inspection, evaluation, and documentation of maintenance and repair activities in compliance with applicable codes and standards during plant shutdowns and maintenance windows.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Carry out detailed visual inspections (internal and external) of *Storage Tanks, Pressure Vessels, Columns, and Heat Exchangers*.

- Conduct NDT activities including UT, MPT, DPT, and thickness gauging to assess equipment health.

- Review and interpret inspection procedures, datasheets, drawings, isometrics, and specifications.

- Coordinate with client QA/QC and operations teams to plan inspection schedules and execution.

- Identify deterioration, corrosion, bulging, cracks, or anomalies; suggest repair/maintenance actions.

- Monitor and verify all repair work during shutdowns or maintenance.

- Ensure compliance with *API 510, **API 653, and **ASME Sec VIII* codes where applicable.

- Maintain detailed inspection reports and update equipment history records.

*Required Qualifications:*

- Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

- Minimum *5-6 years* of field experience in inspection of *tanks, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers* in refinery/petrochemical plants or similar industrial environments.

*Mandatory Certifications:*

- *ASNT Level II* in:

- Radiographic Testing (RT)

- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

- Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT)

- Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT)

> API 510 / API 653 certified candidates will be given preference.

*Desired Skills:*

- Strong familiarity with *welding inspection, **pressure testing, **thickness monitoring, and **corrosion mapping*.

- Sound knowledge of industry standards such as API, ASME, IS, ASTM.

- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and basic report writing tools.

- Good coordination and communication skills to work with site and client teams.
