Position Overview We are seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Associate to join our K-12 textbook publishing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, collecting, and verifying leads of educational professionals including teachers, department heads, and school leadership across the K-12 sector. You will play a crucial role in our sales process by gathering accurate contact information and building relationships with educational institutions to promote the adoption of our textbooks for grades 9-12. This position combines strategic lead generation with relationship building to drive textbook prescriptions and adoptions in schools nationwide. Key Responsibilities Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and emails to educational institutions. Research and identify potential leads, including teachers, department heads, principals, and other school leadership personnel within the K-12 education sector. Collect comprehensive contact information, including phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses of educational decision-makers for direct marketing purposes. Verify the accuracy and authenticity of lead information through systematic validation processes to ensure the quality of the data. Maintain and update a comprehensive database of educational contacts within assigned territories. Establish and maintain effective relationships with teachers, department heads, and school administrators through regular communication Coordinate with the fulfilment team to arrange direct shipping of textbooks to schools or individual educators. Educate school decision-makers about our textbook offerings and their alignment with curriculum standards for grades 9-12 Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, preferably within the education sector or publishing industry Strong phone presence and experience in making numerous calls per day to educational institutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with educational professionals Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools to track and manage leads Preferred Skills and Experience Knowledge of the K-12 education system, curriculum standards, and textbook adoption processes Understanding of the unique K-12 buying cycle and decision-making processes in educational institutions Experience in educational sales or previous work experience in a school environment Familiarity with lead verification tools and data validation processes Show more Show less
