Job Title: Inside Sales Manager

Working Days - 6 days

Sector: UPSC / Education (EdTech – UPSC Preparation)

Job Overview:

The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the inside sales team, driving enrollments, and ensuring smooth lead management for UPSC preparation courses. This role requires strong leadership, an excellent understanding of the UPSC ecosystem, and the ability to convert inquiries into admissions through effective counselling and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Revenue Growth

Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.

Drive revenue through effective lead conversion and efficient sales planning.

Monitor sales KPIs and performance metrics of the counsellors.

2. Team Management

Lead, train, and mentor the inside sales/tele-sales team.

Set daily/weekly targets and ensure consistent performance.

Provide feedback, conduct role plays, and improve team's counselling quality.

3. Lead Management

Oversee end-to-end lead flow from inquiry to conversion.

Ensure timely follow-ups via calls, emails, and WhatsApp.

Maintain accurate records in CRM systems.

4. Counselling & Customer Handling

Understand UPSC course structures, batches, faculty, and test series.

Guide students and parents regarding suitable programs based on their goals.

Resolve student queries and ensure smooth onboarding after enrollment.

5. Process & Coordination

Coordinate closely with academic, operations, and marketing teams.

Improve internal sales processes to maximize efficiency and conversion.

Provide insights to marketing on student behaviour and lead quality.

6. Reporting & Analysis

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.

Track market trends, competitor offerings, and student preferences.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of UPSC preparation patterns, exam structure, and student requirements.

Excellent communication, counselling, and convincing skills.

Leadership and team-handling ability.

Data-driven approach with strong analytical skills.

Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.

Qualifications:

Graduate/Postgraduate.

5–9 years of experience in Inside Sales/Tele-Sales, preferably in the UPSC/EdTech domain.

Experience in managing a sales team is mandatory.
