Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Windows Server Administration, VMware virtualization, and overall server infrastructure management. The role involves maintaining, monitoring, and supporting IT infrastructure across client environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting).
Deploy, monitor, and support VMware virtualization infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter).
Perform server health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
Handle daily operations including user account management, backup & restore, and server uptime.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and change management.
Apply security updates, manage firewalls, and comply with ITIL standards and incident management protocols.
Support and troubleshoot storage (SAN/NAS) and backup systems.
Document configurations, procedures, and policies for infrastructure maintenance.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in Windows Server (2012/2016/2019)
Solid understanding of VMware ESXi, vSphere, vCenter
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
Knowledge of backup solutions and storage technologies
Scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Bash) is a plus
Familiarity with ITSM tools and processes (e.g., ServiceNow)

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Relevant certifications preferred.
