Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our growing team in Noida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development, with a proven track record of successful end-to-end implementations and a deep understanding of the SAP S/4HANA platform. This role requires a professional who is passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex business challenges and is eager to contribute to high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities
- ABAP Development : Design, develop, test, and implement high-quality ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEF objects) adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- End-to-End Implementation : Actively participate in all phases of the SAP implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering and blueprinting to go-live and post-go-live support.
- SAP S/4HANA Expertise : Utilize expertise in ABAP on HANA, including knowledge of AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and CDS (Core Data Services) views for optimized performance and data modeling within the S/4HANA environment.
- System Upgrades & Migrations (Preferred) : Contribute to SAP S/4HANA upgrade or migration projects, ensuring smooth data transition and system functionality.
- Integration & UI Development : Develop solutions using technologies such as SAP Fiori (for modern user experience), OData services (for integration), Webdynpro, Workflow, and Webservices to extend SAP capabilities.
- Technical Specification & Documentation : Translate functional specifications into detailed technical designs and specifications. Create comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions.
- Problem Solving & Support : Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues, providing ongoing support and enhancements to existing SAP solutions.
- Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with functional consultants, business users, and other technical teams to understand requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Continuous Learning : Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Travel : Willingness to travel within India and internationally as required for project assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Education : B. Tech./BE/MCA or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- Experience : Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant.
- Certification/Experience : SAP S/4HANA certification in a relevant module OR at least 1 year of practical experience working on the SAP S/4HANA platform.
Essential Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills :
- Core ABAP : Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF).
- ABAP on HANA : In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA concepts, AMDP, and CDS Views.
- SAP S/4HANA : Practical experience on the SAP S/4HANA platform.
- Integration & UI : Experience with SAP Fiori development, OData service creation, Webdynpro, Workflow, and Webservices.
- Preferred : Experience with SAP S/4HANA system upgrades or migration projects.
