Information Technology Support Specialist

We're looking for a proactive IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and ensure smooth daily operations across our systems and devices. You'll be the first line of defense for troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issueshelping our team stay connected and productive.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to employees via chat, email, and in-person requests.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems promptly.

Set up and configure new user accounts, devices, and access permissions.

Manage and maintain IT assets, ensuring proper documentation and lifecycle tracking.

Support system updates, installations, and security patches.

Collaborate with IT and security teams to maintain data protection and compliance standards.

Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or vendors when necessary.

Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

13 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support role.

Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common business applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).

Familiarity with network fundamentals, including VPNs, firewalls, and wireless setups.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.

Customer-focused mindset and ability to explain tech concepts clearly to non-technical users.

Nice to Have

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Support Specialist.

Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, Freshdesk).

Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
