Information Technology Lead

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on IT leader to head our Information Technology division. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical capabilities with functional business knowledge, including hands-on coding, systems integration, and infrastructure management. This position demands a proactive, strategic thinker who can drive innovation while ensuring robust and reliable IT operations across geographies.

Role & responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Lead the IT strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and future growth plans.
• Oversee the modernization of current infrastructure, including cloud strategy, cyber security, and DR planning.
• Evaluate and implement digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing and business functions.

ERP & Business Applications

• Manage and enhance the existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP environment.
• Oversee integration with other enterprise applications such as Spine HRMS, reporting dashboards, and IoT systems on shop floors.
• Act as internal consultant and business analyst to optimize workflows, reports, and user experience.

Infrastructure & Hardware

• Ensure high availability of server environments across all plants and HO.
• Lead data center management including hardware sizing, storage planning, network security, backups, and failover mechanisms.
• Maintain and upgrade desktops, laptops, network devices, and end-user computing infrastructure for over 200 admin staff and 1100+ shop floor users.

Application Development & Support

• Lead in-house development and customization efforts with hands-on support in coding and application logic.
• Mentor and build a capable IT support and development team.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and system availability across the group.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with heads of operations, finance, HR, production, and sales to gather IT requirements and drive process efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships for IT services, licensing, hardware procurement, and AMC contracts.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
• 12+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Proven experience managing ERP systems (preferably Microsoft NAV), including implementation, customization, and support.
• Solid understanding of factory automation, shop floor systems, and integration with ERP.

Technical Skills

• Strong command over RDBMS concepts (SQL Server, etc.).
• Experience with server management, data storage, and backup technologies.
• Hands-on experience in coding (C/AL or AL for NAV, SQL, .NET, or similar).
• Knowledge of network architecture, cyber security standards, and compliance requirements.
