Position Title: IT Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with

  stakeholders, clients, and technical teams

  to gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements.

• Prepare

  Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)

  Functional Specifications

  User Stories

  for development teams.
• 
  
• Work closely with developers, designers, and QA teams to ensure accurate understanding and implementation of requirements.

• Conduct

  process analysis

  , identify gaps, and recommend improvements aligned with business goals.
• 
  
• Develop and maintain

  workflow diagrams

  ,

  use cases

  , and

  process documentation

• 
  
• Support the

  Project Manager

  in defining project scope, priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

• Translate complex technical concepts into

  clear and concise business terms

  for non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration

  , or related field.
• 
  

• 2–5 years

  of proven experience as an

  IT Business Analyst

  or in a similar role.
• 
  
• Strong understanding of

  software development life cycle (SDLC)

  ,

  Agile/Scrum methodologies

  , and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
• 
  
• Excellent skills in

  requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication

  .
• 
  
• Proficiency in creating

  wireframes, flowcharts, and data models

  .
• 
  
• Ability to work independently in a

  remote environment

  and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• 
  
• Familiarity with

  technical concepts

  such as APIs, databases, and integrations (preferred).
• 
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Attributes

• Certification in

  CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA

  is an added advantage.

• Prior experience working with

  software startups, IT consulting firms

Contract Terms

• This is a
