Industrial Engineer

Position Overview

You are responsible for analyzing operations, designing optimized workflows & production processes, reducing inefficiencies, eliminating wastes, and ensuring that the final products meet the established quality standards.

Key Responsibility Areas/ Tasks

●       Develop and Maintain Approved OB/Plan Files:

Create, manage, and update OB/Plan files, aligned with PM and department approvals.

●       Line Layout Optimization:

Plan and optimize production line layouts.

●       Capacity Management and Worker Allocation:

Ensure capacity aligns with worker availability; adjust line balancing as needed.

●       Real-time Monitoring and Bottleneck Management:

Monitor hourly output, operator performance, and resolve bottlenecks.

●       Skill Gap Identification and Training:

Identify skill gaps and facilitate training to improve operator performance.

●       Factory Efficiency Maintenance:

Sustain factory efficiency in line with Balanced Scorecard standards.

●       Skill Matrix and Multi-Skill Index:

Monitor and report Skill Matrix monthly

●       Process Improvement and Cost Analysis:

Develop manufacturing methods, labor standards, and cost analysis systems.

●       NPT Reduction and Productivity Meetings:

Conduct hourly meetings with the production team to minimize Non-Productive Time (NPT).

●       Operator Performance Reviews:

Conduct performance reviews for machine and manual operators alongside the Production Manager.

Accountable for achieving specific scores and/or fulfilling the following objectives:

●       Production Efficiency >=

●       SAM/ OB & Layout = 100%

●       Loading Efficiency = 100%

●       Multi-Skill Index >= 75%

●       Real Time Monitoring = 100%
