Indium Software - Automation Test Engineer - Selenium/TestNG

Location :

• 3 + years of Strong experience in Java selenium OR Javascript and Cypress
• Good knowledge and exposure in Testng Framework.
• Automation Strategy : Solution specialist and develop automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing using Javascript or Typescript, Cypress, RestAssured, and other relevant tools.
• Framework Enhancement & Optimization : Continuously optimize and enhance existing test frameworks to improve efficiency, scalability, and reusability across teams and projects.
• Test Case Development : Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to develop and maintain automated test cases that ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of applications.
• API Automation : Create and maintain robust API testing frameworks using tools like RestAssured for automated validation of backend services.
• CI/CD Integration : Implement automation frameworks into Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines, integrating with tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and QA, to align automation efforts with project timelines.
• Test Metrics & Reporting : Provide detailed reports on test coverage, automation status, and defect tracking to key stakeholders.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Knowledge of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) frameworks like SpecFlow.
• Performance Testing : Integrate performance testing into the automation pipeline to ensure system robustness under load.
• Familiarity with database automation and testing.
