Position Summary... What you'll do... About Team This role involves working on e-commerce search systems, utilizing both synchronous and asynchronous services to optimize performance and responsiveness. We are actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with a solid background in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance distributed systems, Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) pipelines, and backend services. What You Will Do Design, develop, and maintain distributed systems and backend services for our e-commerce platforms, with an emphasis on search, personalization, scalability, and optimal user experience. Implement and manage Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) pipelines in distributed environments. Work with synchronous and asynchronous services, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create, design, and launch new features. Optimize applications for maximum throughput and scalability. Participate in code and design reviews to uphold high development standards. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team. Handle individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. What You Will Bring Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar. Significant work experience in software development, focusing on distributed systems, Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), and backend services. Experience with e-commerce systems, search and personalization, and synchronous/asynchronous services. Proficiency in various programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, like Git. Strong understanding of data structures, system design, and algorithms. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Capable problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and communication skills. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
