Job Description

  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of claims files for ceding companies
  • Collaborate with senior team members or stakeholders to identify and offer solutions to problems and disputes
  • Help foster and maintain a productive working relationship between ceding company and its reinsurers
  • Communicate as required on assigned portfolios of claims to markets, third parties and service providers, in conjunction with a Client Service advocate as appropriate
  • Interface with global Aon teams
  • Manage and promptly resolve client, reinsurer, bureau market queries and other internal issues, seeking assistance when needed and escalating if required
  • Understand a client s reports, calculations and their requirements
  • Perform Second Pair of Eyes (SPOE) checks wherever required and serve as an approved authorizer as appropriate
  • Participate and support managers in team meetings and activities to share opinions, ideas, knowledge, and solutions
  • Maintain effective working relationships across Aon Client Services and participate in initiatives or contribute where required to deliver outcomes
  • Adhere to standardized Aon India policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements
  • Make observations and recommendations contributing to the operational process and building efficiency
  • Other duties, as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Must be a university graduate in any stream
  • Additional professional qualifications/certifications preferred
  • A minimum of one year of experience and working knowledge in insurance/reinsurance is preferred
  • Candidates with successful corporate experience are also encouraged to apply
  • Demonstrated abilities and experience in data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making
  • Effective written and verbal business communication skills
  • Strong people skills and confidence in working with internal and external stakeholders at all company levels
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task and manage competing priorities to meet defined deadlines
  • A proven record of attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically, as well as solve problems by thinking creatively
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office suite of products
