Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Import Manager to lead our import operations and ensure seamless logistics management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing imports, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage import operations, including coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs clearance agents. 2. Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs laws, and company policies. 3. Develop and implement strategies to optimize import costs, lead times, and inventory levels. 4. Negotiate with suppliers and freight forwarders to achieve best rates and services. 5. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including purchasing, logistics, and warehousing teams. 6. Analyze import data and identify opportunities for process improvements. 7. Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations. 8. Collaborate with teams to resolve import-related issues and improve overall supply chain efficiency. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. 2. Minimum 4 -7 years of experience in import management, logistics, or supply chain. 3. Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and logistics operations. 4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
