Job Description

Job Summary The Implant Executive will be responsible for promoting and supporting orthopaedic implants and instruments during surgeries. The role involves coordinating with surgeons, OT staff, distributors, and hospital management to ensure smooth execution of implant procedures, product availability, and superior service delivery. Key Responsibilities 1. OT Support & Case HandlingProvide in-theatre support during orthopaedic surgeries (Trauma, Sports Medicine). Ensure correct implant selection and usage based on surgeon requirements. Handle instrumentation sets, ensure sterilization, and maintain product readiness. Maintain strong technical knowledge of all ortho implant systems. 2. Sales & Business Development Promote company’s orthopaedic product range to surgeons, hospitals, and distributors. Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities. Execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Conduct product demos and training sessions for healthcare professionals. 3.Inventory & Logistic Coordination Manage implant stock levels at hospitals/distributors. Ensure timely delivery and return of implants and instruments after surgeries. Maintain proper documentation of stock usage and replenishment. 4. Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, OT staff, purchase departments, and distributors. Provide prompt after-sales service and resolve customer concerns. Support marketing activities like CMEs, workshops, and surgeon engagement programs. 5. Reporting & Compliance Submit daily reports on surgeries attended, sales activity, and stock movement. Ensure all operations comply with company guidelines and medical regulations. Keep updated knowledge on competitor products and market trends. Qualifications & Skills Educational Qualification Graduate in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field. MBA in Marketing (optional but preferred). Experience 1–4 years of experience in ortho implants, medical devices, or OT support roles. Freshers with strong technical aptitude may also be considered. Skills Required Strong knowledge of orthopaedic procedures and implants. Good communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work in OT environment and handle pressure. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours (as surgeries may be scheduled anytime). Organizational and inventory-handling skills. Salary & Benefits Competitive salary + performance incentives.
