Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Ignition Developer with strong hands-on experience in Inductive Automation Ignition for industrial automation and IIoT applications. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Python scripting, SQL database integration, and SCADA dashboard development, with exposure to PLC communication protocols and industrial system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy SCADA and IIoT applications using Ignition Perspective and Vision modules.
• Implement Python scripting and SQL database queries for dynamic and data-driven visualization.
• Configure and maintain OPC-UA, MQTT, and Modbus communication for real-time data acquisition.
• Integrate Ignition systems with Rockwell, Siemens, or other PLC platforms.
• Develop and manage historical data logging, alarms, and reports within Ignition.
• Collaborate with control system engineers and clients to define system requirements and architecture.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of Ignition-based systems on-site and remotely.
• Maintain system documentation, version control, and deployment records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Computer Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in SCADA / IIoT application development.
• Proven experience with Inductive Automation Ignition (Perspective and Vision modules).
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting and SQL database integration.
• Knowledge of OPC-UA, MQTT, and Modbus communication protocols.
• Experience in PLC integration (Rockwell / Siemens preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and client interaction skills.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience with Ignition Edge, MQTT Sparkplug B, or cloud integration (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Understanding of ISA-95, IIoT architectures, and data modeling.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹140,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
