Identity Management Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive L2 IAM Administrator to manage and support our identity and access management systems. This role is responsible for handling IAM issues, maintaining user lifecycle processes, and ensuring secure access to enterprise resources. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IAM tools, directory services, and access governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and resolve L2 IAM service requests and incidents related to user provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, and role-based access controls.

· Administer identity platforms such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, or similar.

· Perform access certifications, entitlement reviews, and periodic audits to ensure compliance with security policies.

· Collaborate with support teams to escalate and resolve complex IAM issues.

· Maintain and update IAM documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

· Support onboarding/offboarding processes and ensure timely access provisioning.

· Monitor IAM system health, logs, and alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues.

· Participate in IAM-related projects including system upgrades, integrations, and automation initiatives.

· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

· 4–5 years of experience in IAM administration or IT security operations.

· Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, RBAC, and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, LDAP).

· Experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD, CyberArk, Beyond Trust, or similar.

· Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).

· Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

· IAM certifications (e.g., CIAM, CIMP, or vendor-specific certifications).

· Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation.

· Exposure to cloud IAM (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google Workspace).

· Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and privileged access management.
