Job Description

TCS is conducting Virtual Drive on 11th June, 2025 Location: Pune Years of Experience: 5-9 yrs Notice Period: 0/15/30 days Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain IBM DB2 databases . Monitor database performance and implement tuning solutions. Ensure database availability, reliability, and integrity. Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans. Perform database migrations and upgrades. Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts. Work closely with development teams to provide DB2 expertise and support . Should be aware about application SQL Query tuning, database parameter tuning , Must have an idea of DB online/Offline backup and recover Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud). Knowledge of other database platforms (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) . Implementing purging policies over the database servers as per the customer data retention periods. Must have performed DB2 migration Installation and configuration of DB2 Database servers for standalone and DPF environments in Linux and AIX operating systems. Implement security policies and compliance requirements. Maintain documentation related to database infrastructure.
