HVAC Site Engineer

Job Title: HVAC Site Engineer – Clean Room Projects Department: Projects / MEP Location: Hyderabad Job Type: Full-Time Roles and Responsibilities: Supervise and execute HVAC installation works for clean room and controlled environment projects as per approved drawings and GMP standards. Oversee installation of AHUs, FCUs, HEPA filters, air ducts, chillers, and VRF/VRV systems ensuring compliance with clean room design requirements. Review HVAC and clean room layout drawings, BOQs, and ensure execution as per ISO 14644 and project specifications. Coordinate with civil, electrical, and other MEP teams to maintain airtightness, pressure differentials, and temperature/humidity control. Ensure proper installation and sealing of ductwork, diffusers, and filters to prevent contamination. Conduct air balancing, validation support, and commissioning of HVAC systems in clean rooms. Monitor and report daily site progress, manpower, and material usage to the Project Manager. Liaise with clients, consultants, and quality teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution. Implement site safety and ensure compliance with quality and EHS standards. Assist in documentation for validation, DQ/IQ/OQ protocols, and system handover. Key Skills Required Strong knowledge of HVAC systems for clean rooms, laminar airflow, pressure cascade, and contamination control. Familiar with GMP, ISO 14644, and validation protocols. Good understanding of duct fabrication, insulation, and cleanroom partition interface. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Excellent coordination, reporting, and communication skills. Qualification & Experience: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. 3–7 years of experience in HVAC site execution for clean room / pharma / biotech / laboratory projects.
