1. Collaborate with clients, architects, and consultants to understand project requirements, specifications, and design criteria.
2. Prepare and review project plans, including scope of work, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
3. Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate existing conditions and gather relevant data for project planning and design.
4. Coordinate with internal teams, including design, procurement, and installation, to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion.
5. Prepare engineering designs, calculations, and technical drawings using appropriate software and industry standards.
6. Coordinate and oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors required for project implementation.
7. Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from the project plan.
8. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
9. Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and project reports.
10. Collaborate with the project management team to track project costs, analyze project performance, and implement cost control measures.
1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Additional certifications in HVAC or project management are advantageous.
2. Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the HVAC or air conditioning industry.
3. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, design principles, and installation practices.
4. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
5. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools for scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
8. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address project challenges and find effective solutions.
9. Understanding of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards related to HVAC projects.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
