Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed HVAC drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering team to understand project requirements and ensure accurate representation of HVAC systems.
• Review and interpret project specifications, mechanical design documents, and other technical documentation to create accurate draft plans.
• Develop and maintain HVAC system drawings, including ductwork, piping layouts, and equipment placement.
• Assist in the preparation of HVAC system designs, including load calculations, equipment selection, and sizing.
• Ensure that all drawings are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Perform site visits to gather necessary data and update drawings as per field requirements.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings and documentation in accordance with project schedules.
• Maintain and update a library of standard details and design templates.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other disciplines to resolve any design conflicts.
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for HVAC systems based on drawings and design details.
• Prepare as-built drawings and technical documentation upon project completion.

Requirements:

• Education:

  Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.

• Experience:

  Minimum 4 years of experience as an HVAC Draughtsman or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and design principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software (Revit, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Familiarity with industry standards and building codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of energy-efficient HVAC technologies is a plus.
