HVAC Draftsman – Chiller Projects

Touch N Chill Pvt Ltd — a leading Daikin Authorised Dealer & HVAC Contractor delivering high-value commercial and industrial HVAC projects across Tamil Nadu — is looking for an experienced HVAC Draftsman with strong expertise in Chiller System Design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed HVAC shop drawings for Chiller-based HVAC systems, including:

• Air-cooled and water-cooled chiller plants

• Chilled water piping layouts, valve schedules & pump room drawings

• AHU, FCU, PAHU and ventilation layouts

• Develop coordinated HVAC drawings for industrial, corporate, commercial & infrastructure projects executed by Touch N Chill.

• Assist HVAC design engineers in:

• Heat load calculations

• Selection of chillers, pumps, cooling towers & air-side equipment

• Ensure all designs strictly comply with ISHRAE, ASHRAE, NBC and project-specific standards.

• Prepare schematics, single-line diagrams, control philosophy drawings and equipment layout plans.

• Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical & plumbing teams to avoid clashes and maintain design integrity.

• Generate as-built drawings and revisions reflecting site conditions.

• Support project teams with technical drawings, BOQs and material submittals during execution.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Proven experience in HVAC drafting & design of chiller plants for industrial and commercial buildings.

• Strong technical understanding of ISHRAE & ASHRAE standards.

• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD (Revit/BIM knowledge is an advantage).

• Good knowledge of HVAC piping design, equipment layouts, energy-efficient systems & site coordination.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.

• 3–6 years relevant experience in industrial or commercial HVAC projects.

• Experience working with leading HVAC brands and large-scale projects preferred.
