HVAC Project Engineer

HVAC Supervisor – Job Roles & Responsibilities 1. Project & Site Management • Supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems (VRV/VRF, chillers, ductable units, etc.) • Plan and allocate tasks to technicians and helpers based on project scope • Monitor daily work progress and ensure timelines are met • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and engineers on-site • Ensure proper materials and tools are available at the site 2. Technical Oversight • Read and interpret HVAC drawings, BOQs, and specifications • Guide technicians in proper installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting • Perform quality checks and system testing • Supervise ducting, piping, insulation, control wiring, and drainage works 3. Team Management • Lead and train HVAC technicians, apprentices, and helpers • Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance • Resolve technical or workforce issues at the site • Maintain team discipline and safety compliance 4. Safety & Compliance • Enforce site safety standards (PPE usage, safe handling of equipment) • Ensure work is done as per ISHRAE standards or manufacturer guidelines • Maintain documentation for inspections, testing, and approvals 5. Reporting & Coordination • Provide daily/weekly progress reports to the Project Manager • Track work completion vs. project schedule • Communicate any site issues, delays, or material shortages • Support handover and documentation at project close-out ⸻ Preferred Qualifications & Skills • ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC • 3–5 years experience in commercial HVAC project execution • Strong knowledge of Daikin, Carrier, Blue Star, or equivalent systems • Ability to manage teams and handle client coordination • Good knowledge of refrigerant systems, ducting, and electrical controls Show more Show less
