Role Description

This is a full-time role for an HVAC Draftsman based in Pune. The HVAC Draftsman will be responsible for

• Preparing detailed HVAC system designs, creating and reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring accurate ducting layouts.
• The role also includes MEP coordination to align HVAC systems with other building services, taking bill quantities, developing Initial HVAC design, documents and drawings.
• Daily tasks involve attention to technical specifications and collaboration with project teams to ensure alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
• Ability to generate overall plans, layouts, schematics, and flow diagrams for the concept and implementation phases of projects.
• Preparation of BOQ/ final quantity as per the final drawing for procurement.
• Attending meetings with clients & consultants for approval of technical submittals and drawings.
• Support to the Sales team in the desired timeline with BOQ, layouts, quantification, etc
• Willingness to travel 50% Required

Qualifications & Experience

• Proficiency in HVAC Design and HVAC system understanding

• Expertise in preparation of HVAC Shop Drawings

• Experience or knowledge in MEP Coordination
• Attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawing preparation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration
• Familiarity with relevant design and drafting software is a plus

• ITI/Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering/HVAC or a related field preferred

• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD 2D and MS Excel is a must.

• Proficiency in the English language

• Minimum 2 + years of experience in drafting HVAC shop drawings
