Human Resources Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing HR functions specific to the Information Technology department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring the overall well-being and engagement of IT personnel.

Responsibilities:

1.Recruitment and Onboarding:

• Source, screen, and interview IT candidates for various positions.
• Expert in filling the position on the priority basis.
• Collaborate with IT hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new IT hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

2.Employee Relations:

• Act as a liaison between IT employees and management to address concerns and grievances.
• Monitor and foster a positive work environment within the IT department.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to IT staff.

3.HR Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with IT-specific regulations and certifications.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in IT HR.

4.HR Administration:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records for IT personnel.
• Handle IT-specific HR paperwork, such as job descriptions, contracts, and organisational charts.

5.Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HR professional, with specific experience in IT HR.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge of IT roles, skills, and industry trends.
• Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and compliance issues related to the IT sector.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

6. Preferred Skills:

• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
• Familiarity with IT certifications and training programs.
• Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
